I'm not sure if it's a gimmick.. but the prices look a little too low to me.. esp for the B+W filters... the company's office is in singapore.. so maybe someone could pop by to verify genuinity? maybe if they allowed us to buy from their office i'll be interested.. so we can inspect the goods before we pay...
take note that CP is the official distributor for B+W.. we won't know where the ones from this shop comes from.. unless there's a way to check.. like some security features or something.. i don't want to end up paying 100+ for a normal piece of glass.... |

Its genuine...
I know another CS-er (loh who rents out lenses) who buys lots of B+W filters from them, which led me to do so to get a filter for my 17-55mm. Ordered on Saturday and received it by Tuesday registered mail to my door step. They seem very professional... you can pay via CC (paypal) OR via local internet banking... They will issue e-receipt with details of TT for you to do the necessary then they will also email you to reconfirm your mailing address upon receiving your payment. They are very well organised and efficient.. so I will definitely give my support. Didn't check prices of the lens though... cos now out of cash... ![]() |

Oracle sell 400D body for $1300.
They sell 400D kit for $1023, and body for $849. Buy from who better? I mean... This website pops up all of a sudden... Uncle Joe has existed since time immemorial... Oh, the memoryworld website, prices include GST? |

No. Have to add gst to price. Under the "Shipping Info" tab .. All local sales are subject to GST, on top of the display price.
Even then 24-105mm F4 $1583.32 http://www.memoryonlineshop.com/product_info.php?cPath=50_45&products_id=197&<osCs id> |

Hi all,
I have bought a few pieces of B+W filters from them and so far the transactions were sucessful and the experience with them was great. Kudos to them. However I wish to remind people to always remain vigilant when making your purchases. It doesn't mean that a company can be considered reputable just because of a few sucessful transactions by other fellow CSers. There are many things that still unknown about this company; for eg, how well do they honor their exchange policy etc. So far I have yet to purchase any lens from them as there seems to be some warranty issues that I am not too sure of. The sales rep has promised to get back to me regarding some of my queries and till then, I shall hold on my purchases of more expensive items from them. ![]() |

The B+W filters are great. Just got them and a saving of about 20% is definitely worth it. The 72 mm ones will only be in stock next year.

Careful not to compare the price to that of the MRC slim CPL - 2 different beasts...
The 77mm MRC slim CPL is about 10-15 SGD cheaper (200SGD) than TK Foto but if I read things correctly, you have to add 10SGD for GST anyway. Same goes for the 77mm UV Haze @ 92.40 (exc GST) where TK was about 110 (inc GST) from memory. The L Lenses are certainly a lot more expensive than Oracle with or without GST ! It's a useful resource though - will add it to my favorites for the filters & accessories in particular. Cheers

I bought a 58mm Haze UV MRC at 41.77(include 5% GST). For this model, it is indeed cheaper than other shops. CP sell it for about 60-70SD. The service and the seller are basically quite ok. The thing I am not happy with is that the seller never replied my mobile messages although he asked me to send message before coming. I have to call him again and again. If he replied my messages, I would rate the seller and service very good. Last edited by freecloud; 17th December 2006 at 04:33 PM. |
