Hi all Tokina 28-80mmf/2.8 owners,
Just want to find out what is your comments, pros & cons of this lens before making my final decision to purchase it. I know this Tokina model has been discussed before in this forum but the answers were not very precise. Thank you all of you in advance. Cheers! ![]() |

i once owned this lens. its sharp from f3.5 on, quite soft at f2.8. 28mm is hopeless on digital, this is the reason i sold it.

The model that you want to look out for is the - 28-70 ATX Pro II F2.6-2.8 ... this model is the sharpest compared to the newer variations.
