yeah lor. cheap and good. provided you test carefully for a sharp copy before purchasing from the shop. Best is bring a laptop down like me :P haha. Kiasu.

I am also using 50mm, good but not practicle as a walking / travelling lens, hence looking for a zoom.

IMHO, a prime 28mm or 35mm is much lighter than a zoom if your main purpose is travelling photography. Granted you cannot "zoom" but you can always zoom with your legs...
I find it a balance between the convenience of a zoom vs the light-weight (and quality) of a prime for travels... of course, some people just slap on a 18-200 and thats it... ![]() |

the Nikkor 28-70 is great if you're shooting film
(or if you're still wishfully pining that Santa will announce Nikon FF bodies)If I don't recall wrongly the Tamron 28-75 is limited to APS-C sensors.
