    Default Was Singnet Broadband down yesterday afternoon till this morning?

    lost my connection yesterday.... anyone experienced the same problem?

    Yeap, now I recalled, it was rather cranky kept getting on and off. Never did occured to me until you posted this.

    my SCV connection just down for an hour....

    my location is not the worst, only about one down time a week, but sometimes it can last for more than 24 hours...

    i paid $76 a mth for SCV Maxonline, average of more than $2 a day, wonder if we can demand any compensation becos of the down time, if not it will be unfair to the users.

    I remember that SMRT was fined 1million for exceeding the downtime slightly...wonder if there are such rules for ISP to follow?
    We are HDD of PC & FT are MB add to storage;
    so PC never hangs with enormous storage capacity - LKY

    connection's back up.... apparently, it was quite a major problem and there's a recorded message about Singnet experiencing technical problem when I called up the helpdesk.

    Me too. On Singnet BB and I nearly panicked when I couldn't log on. Cos I was messing with my PC the day before so I was worried that it was something that I did. pheww.

    Hi,

    I've been a Singnet Broadband user for the past 15 months or more and did not encounter any problems. However, since yesterday evening till now, I could not access the ADSL network. I did a diagnostic test using the supplied software and it discovered a problem with the line (XXXXXXXX). Modem and interface tests are ok. There were no changes to my PC or modem settings and I suspect it could be due to the maintenance
    done by Singnet yesterday.

    Would appreciate it if you could help to resolve the problem. Thank you.
