Hi am a newbie to DSLR photography and would like to ask how to check if the lens is backfocusing?

Default Re: Backfocus

shoot on a ruler and aim at 7 cm mark....

if 9 to 10 cm mark in focus while 7cm mark out of focus... then it means you have back focus....

alternatively, go to the service center of your camera brand..... they will test it for you foc...
