I absoulutely hates the way he talks and comments on photos.

But when i look beyond my anger and what he says about some images. I get very cautious about my images. This has helped me with improving.

i leave the "deception, lies and hypocrisy" aside. it is on a personal issue that can only be solved on a personal basis.

Student, i'm not taking any sides or trying to give points to anyone. Both yours and his comments have helped many many ppl out there. It may not be favourably done. But it still has helped many people. I just wished this could continue and this kinda differences just ceases. For the sake of newbies like me and all those who really do want to learn something from the both of you. Please?

Unfortunately Singapore doesn't have that many mountains for one mountain one master.

CS is always the colosseum where the gladiators fight out and lions are slained and blood flows.

Before you can win you must have the courage to stare into the eyes of the enemy.

Look Chris. I had said ad nauseum I do not disagree with most of his comments.

I am taking issue with him on something A LOT more fundamental

The issue is not a personal one. I had been tolerating for a long time his lies and hypocrisy to the community. As I had said, I have no problem with anyone not liking my images.

But DP, as part of his "defence" to his opinions, said it again and again that my photography is nothing, when what he wrote in private was completely the opposite!

The implication is that if he could persuade the community that I am nothing, then my alternative viewpoints are nothing. And he knows that is a bullsh1t!

At the end of it, I assure you, just as what I wrote in Yuki, and in this thread, if you listen to the obsessive nature of technical and political correctness, you will be like the likes of him! With no "style" of your own. With little imaginations because you had boxed yourself in with all the dos and donts.

I am trying to persuade people to express, to tell stories despite imperfections, through my images and through my words. And DP is trying to tear that down knowing it was my images which made him think about his own image!

If DP can demonstrate by reasons that my proposition is truly untenable, I can accept that. But he was trying to do that by lies and deception!

What information do you want, besides those I carefully quoted?

I am not interested in winning.

I am only interested in calling a spade a spade.

I am only interested in giving facts.

    i wish you both well

1 enemy, is 1 enemy too many

i assume that both of you are matured enough to know that this will go nowhere
so take a step back and add each other to your respective ignore list

    d) the friendly way - both meet up, apologise to each other, buy each other a kopi and make friends.

I fully agree with method (d). Maybe make that beer instead of kopi.

Peace and let's move on. No point going on like this.

I am not a mountain, and I am not a master.

    I am only a student.

But I am a student who do not take sh1t from self-deluded "master".

But it appears to me that sh1t is well tolerated here!
