Look into the lens elements. Pointing to light maybe help.
If you find something like spider web inside, that's fungus. Regards, Arto. |

The best is to use a led torch light and shine it into the lens and you can see very clearly. Always bring alone a small led torch for inspection of lens

actually, a quick and fast rule when buying 2nd hand lenses is that, when you point at a light source, it should be TOTALLY clear. even little spots could be fungi spores.
