Where to BUY k100D~?!

I went to Parkway today, however it seemed that there were no pentax camera at all!!!

Is there anyone know where to get pentax k100d camera with cheaper price in singapore or from online?

By the way, is it cheaper to buy online and ship it from USA?

Aiyo, why u go Parkway? Of course, dun have lah. Pentax not a very "recognised" brand.

If you not taking the offer linked by Fengwei, you can go to Cathay Photo at Marina Square or Peninsula Plaza. Another shop would be Alan Photo at Funan Centre.

Price for the kit would be S$1000+-, depending on your bargaining power.

Price is very close to S$1000+- BRAND NEW. Just make sure the stuff is original & not gray set & NEW!

Do factor in that you MUST buy an SD card to store the pictures you take!

Well, I still think the deal I posted is the best for now. The camera is brand new w/ almost one year warranty, as w/ all other items. You'll need an SD card, some AA batteries, sooner or later a P-TTL flash, a tele lens for longer reach ... And these are all there in the deal.

Let me do a math for you:

1. K100D kit: at least $1000
2. 360 Flash (the cheapest Pentax P-TTL flash): $320 (or higher if you are not a good bargainer)
3. 2gb Transcend SD card: $77 (quoted today from MemoryWorld)
4. 8x Sanyo 2500 AA batteries: $20 the least
5. DA 50-200: $380 or higher

That's total value of $1800, while you can get them for only $1550! All for local warranty. I'd get this deal if I were looking for a K100D setup. And it's a great setup imo.

thanks fengwei for the recommendations, please look at the latest offer for the k100d, grab today for all the additional freebies, the whole set cost around $2k, selling coz i have no use for it, always in my dry cabinet

it seems that it is cheaper to buy this set.

but I am just a beginner of DSLR and Im looking for the basic stuff right now.

I have done some studies from some of the forums and I am now considering only body and 18~55 kit,battery and memory card.

Problem is that I dont really need flash and telescope lens right now! if I buy this set,I may have to resell some of the stuff and I do not have time since I am busy at studying right now.

Aslo, I want to get used to the 18~55mm kit lens. So as to know what are the lens that I really want for my future, then I will consider other lens.

As I have told someone before (you know who you are ), I am looking for the DA 50-200mm lens. I would not mind taking the telezoom lens... but I can only deal after I come back from Myanmar on 16th (I've got several other deals arranged already). PM me if this is OK with both of you.

why dun you take the whole set, and then resell the parts since there are ready buyers for both the flash and the telezoom lens
