what setting did u used? how come the flash was so harsh that it cast a shadow so strong

and is danny so dark? his 3rd pix made him look like cha-dah like that

just my 2-jiam worth :O

I too don't like the shadow, try to swivel the flash head but either not strong enough or too strong, no time to really tweak the flash settings (not that i really understand the science behind it, still learning : ) )coz they are there for quite a short time so try to shoot as many as possible.

Yes i find Danny quite tan nowadays, i guess the dark effect more or less also being contributed by my editing coz i edit it in Nikon Cpature 3.5

By the way, can give some tips on flash technique in such situation, i always can't get it right, really want to tone way down the shadows, although i can lighten it in photoshop but i guess that won't improve my knowledge or skill so anyone can enlighten me?
