Default Powerex Batteries - urgent

An urgent request...

Are Powerex batteries any good? I saw in the papers at Sitex for S$15 for 4 AAs... anyone bought these? What's the capacity like? Does Eastgear still sell them at this price?

I'm leaving this Friday and I need another 8 batteries - also want a fast charger that can charge 8 batteries at one go - preferably 1 hour charger or faster... any recommendations... must be less than S$150?

Thanks!

if u need to charge 8 at a go, they have chargers for that also, 100+
check their website

Have used the POWEREX 2700. Much better than the SONY IMHO. Got the MAHA MH-C401FS charger as well. The charger can be set to slow or fast charge. Can charge 1 to 4 AA or AAA. It has four independant charger, which ensure each battery is charged to the max compare to those that charge in pair.

Got both at EG. The battery is price lower if buy together with the charger. Can't remember the price but can checked from their website, price controlled.

Thanks for the quick replies! I'm currently using 12 GP batteries from 2100 to 2500 mAh... I like them but they are pretty expensive... hopefully the Powerex ones are cheaper... thanks! Will go down to EG @ PP today to take a look...

I find Powerex to hold their charge pretty well too. I have a batch that was charged last month and it still has most of it's charge today.
