This I note sure... but I tink there's free access in the transit area. Can anyone confirm this?

    Oh you mean THAT.

It used to be 1G limit. I don't really go over it last time, now maybe.
First they will give you a call to see whether is everything alright.
In case of a virus, then you can quickly do something about it mah.

Schiphol may be ranked high, but the luggage delivery (in the new airport) was so slow that showing me the high tech luggage delivery system n their TV's didn't change my mind that they have to change......

I lived in Holland, and used this airport since the old days, so I know the difference with now. I had to walk 30 min to the baggage area, and I still had to wait another 20-25 min for the luggage of my flight to arrive out of that 'tunnel' in the airport.......

Interestingly, Changi Airport Terminal 1 was designed as a copy of the old Schiphol (interior of Schiphol was designed by a Chinese Indonesian Goh Liang Ie).......

StarHub Customers Get Free Wireless Broadband Access

    * StarHub customers get free wireless broadband access to all StarHub hotspots in Singapore and at around 12,000 new Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) hotspots worldwide;

    * Customers also able to seamlessly access Wireless@SG hotspots for free via QMax Communications

Singapore, 11 December 2006 - From January 2007, StarHub customers will enjoy free wireless broadband access at all StarHub hotspots in Singapore, including Singapore Changi Airport, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf outlets, Suntec City Mall, and the non-exhibition areas at Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre and Singapore Expo.

In addition, StarHub customers can get free access to Wireless@SG services through a Memorandum of Understanding reached between StarHub and QMax Communications. This collaboration will see QMax Communications extending its Free Basic Wireless@SG accounts to all StarHub customers. At the same time, QMax Wireless@SG subscribers can also access all StarHub hotspots for free. QMAX Communications is one of three wireless operators chosen by the Infocom Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) to develop the national wireless broadband network under the Wireless@SG initiative.

Lastly, for a promotional period, StarHub customers will enjoy free international roaming to 12,000 new Wi-Fi hotspots in India, Germany, UK, Austria, Czech Republic and The Netherlands via StarHub’s partnerships with members of the global WBA. The promotion - which starts today - will last until the end of March 2007.

With these latest initiatives by StarHub, customers will be able to enjoy wireless broadband access at all these hotspots using just their existing Hub ID or Gee! accounts without the hassle and confusion of multiple hotspot accounts and passwords.

"Once again, StarHub delivers value to our customers, who can use a single StarHub account to connect effortlessly at StarHub, Wireless@SG and more than 20,000 hotspots globally through the WBA without the hassle of signing up for and juggling multiple accounts or purchasing overseas pre-paid cards," said Anil Nihalani, Vice President, Mobile Services, StarHub.
Expanded International Wireless Broadband Roaming Locations

Today’s announcement doubles the overall coverage of WBA hotspots available to StarHub customers, with new partners VSNL (India) and T-Com / T-Mobile (Europe) adding 12,000 hotspots to the company’s existing wireless broadband roaming footprint. This expands StarHub’s wireless broadband roaming reach via the WBA to 15 WBA members in 13 countries, allowing customers to wirelessly roam at over 24,000 international locations spanning the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

    The new additions are:
VSNL Hotspots in India - VSNL has 150 hotspots in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Goa, amongst others.
T-Com / T-Mobile Hotspots in Europe - T-Com has 2,500 hotspots in the UK, 738 hotspots in the Netherlands, 106 hotspots in the Czech Republic, 8,000 hotspots in Germany and 376 hotspots in Austria.

Tried registering myself from Singnet's website. Always can't complete the registration process. Always get a garbled page after entering particulars. Anyone out there facing the same problem?
