personally... I find the toggling between 2 format ratios pretty distracting.

Cumon guys be more positive, I bet the couple loved this video.
It is nicely cut and edited. A good sense of cinematography. Shots are well framed for an event. And good closeups at several points... Who did this? The blurish effects was abit overkill at some point. 1 Thumb up! David |

unique style.. very documentry style.. it tells the feel and the mood of the couples. it shows the excitement of groom and the bride preparing for thier big day.. it brings out the atmosphere.. tho the cuts may not be acceptable to some or maybe many..
not sure the purpose for the video, but i found it is a very good summary of a wedding video rather then use for pre wedding feast as mentioned by some1 a little part which i felt abit draggy is the marching in at the church.. btw the couples are TeoChew? never see any day lites lay ![]() overall nice! Big thanks peepz!
I take all comments. Negative or positive. For the format, i wasn't really aware of that until i posted the video here. Too techy.heheh! Thanks anyways, will pay attention to it the next time. Personaly, I was more conscious of how the video will turn out. Like showing the exact moments when it was shot, expressing the real emotions and all. Luckily, I guess I have achieved it since hobbes and sundazz noticed and appreciated it. Macy Gray's song is " Sweet Baby" Thanks again peepz! peace! |

The video have achieve the aim of "A very touching wedding"
other than the aspect format changes which is already highlighted, I overall like the video. My comment are What I like: The 2 camera concept capturing both the bridegroom and bride preparation for the wedding At 0:43 the hugging scene when the bridegroom hugged his brother What I think can further improved: At 0:42 blue flashing, it is distracting can remove that effect will be nicer At 0:56 similar as above, the flashing to white, it is distracting if remove the effect the result will be nicer. At 1:52 young child sitting on bed, I find it abit too short, if can extend so that we know that it is at the bride house will be better. The rocking motion of the camera during the shoot on the corridor in the starting and other walk shoot. I wish that it to be more stable. (I also have this problem when I shoot pacing shoot, I am still practice it to make it perfect) Overall nice footage and editing. Like to view more of your video.

will take note of your comments for improvements. The walkthrus were a bit hard to do indeed...it's kinda frustrating. the blue/white flashing was an experiment. Just got excited with my new filters and played around with it. somehow,i'm still glad i didn't totally kill the concept of the editing. fortunately, I just posted one one my fave wedding projects ..it's titled ' a cool wedding'. fetching comments on that one too.. perhaps i'm less observant, i didn't really notice the change in format untill like 3 minutes later. hence, it doesn't really bother me at all.
I love the video very much, nice skills there. |

Personally i dont really like it. If this is done for a singapore couple, bet they will find it quite bored. Firstly, it is too long video and second the music selection is bad. I watch halfway i stopped. I have seen better production done by the local production team.
Sori if i am abit harsh on words, but i think it should be cut short. Cheers bro!Last edited by The Oracle; 13th February 2007 at 03:54 AM. |

try to work on those special moment. event and wedding is all about experience. the more experience you have, you will know the right time, composition and anticpation for the next moment to appear. moment are everything. at least you try to put your video as raw as possible edit with a storyboard in mind. than add in effect after that. i am really bless to have those training while i was in poly. |
