Default How many SLR bodies do you carry?

I saw quite a number of photographer shooting and carrying another SLR body at the same time.

I presume one body is for fast film and the other is for slower film.
    Any other reasons?

Just need to know.. How many SLR bodies do you carry during a routine shoot.(exclude assignment).

Why do you carry more than one body?

I mean SLR bodies only.. Not applicable if you carry a compact or MF with you.

Well for me routine shoots are what most of you would call assignments

I carry anywhere from 1-5 SLR's in 35mm format depending on the shoot and anticipated requirements.

When carrying 2 bodies one is a backup incase of failure of the main body. I never cross load different film as film type is matched to the job being done, lighting conditions and client specifications or requirements.

    Two SLRs,

One for Sensia 100, the other one with either Sensia 400 or Press 800.

I think I ever brought out 4 cameras at one time for 3 long days!!!

1 medium format for colour/B&W slide and print film
1 SLR body for colour slide film
1 SLR body for black & white film
1 compact camera for slide film

... and not to mention my various lenses, tripod etc etc.

I personally won't advise anyone to try this at home or abroad unless you are as macho as I am ...

unfortunately i dun have the dough to get another body so i have to make do with changing films sometimes halfway. thats y to me the 'leaving film header out' custom function of the eos30 is like a lifesaver for me.
