Does anyone know can this lens take Macro?
How is the ratio? distant? sharpness in macro mode?
Care to share some photo in both normal and macro? thanks

can't really same macro, it doesn't give enough magnification @ 1:3.9. sharpness wise is definitely .
if you are into macro, go for the tamron 90mm instead.

Does anyone know how about the sharpness compare with tamron 17-50 f2.8? thanks

I'm also considering between the 28-75 & 17-50. With the 1.5x crop, will most likely go for the latter for the wideness cos using it for indoor events where space can be a constraint..

I have no comparison of the 2.. since i only own the 28-75. so far image are very sharp... even f2.8 is reasonable sharp. very comparable with most kit lens sweet spot.
