    I always thought tack sharp referred to the photo and not to the lens.

    Actually, it was only after my 1st post upstairs that I realised what the TS was really up to, but I just checked the poll results and so far, nobody has fallen into the trap yet

    Actually, when a picture is referred to as TACK SHARP, its actually an acronym "Technically Accurate Cibrachrome Kelvin Shutter Hyperfocal at Refracted Polarization"
