A TC works the best along w/ a fast mid to tele prime lens, or fast tele zoom lens. It won't work well w/ a slow super zoom lens like your Cosina 28-210mm f4-5.6.

But I've seen some good results by a TC w/ slower tele zoom lenses (like DA50-200) when the light condition is good. So it doesn't hurt to give it a try.

Better get a tele zoom lens (like Sigma/Tamron 70-300) if you need longer reach. Or better yet, get an FA/F*300 F4.5 (if you can find one ).

Good luck.
