Default what to use to Compress AVI?

Good day,

I've 19mb video (320X240) ~ almost 4 mins. Want to put it online but its BIG! Youtube is a choice but its quality isn't very good.

Any softwares/freewares out there that can encode it to say 5mb and maintain decent quality?

regards

DivX got many profiles you can choose from. I usually choose the portable profile to squeeze movies into my iPaq. For Nokia mobile phones, I convert to .mp4 format. I should say 5MB for 4mins is easily achievable. For example, I reencode a 45mins TVB serial episode into .mp4 for Nokia phones into 41MB approx => works out to be 1MB per min. Note that in this case, the resolution is shrink to 320x240
