    Default Night Shooting

    I want to know what is the setting for night shooting with my D70s? Coz i can't take the good photo during the night shooting! Some of my photo is to dark ? When i on my build-in flash the photo is to white ! Pls give me some information or tips during the night shooting.Thanks for yr reply.

    Perhaps you can post some of your photos for us to comment. We have no idea if you are taking portraits, abstracts or ???

    bring tripod.. put speed to long exposure..

    I delete the photo ready so for the moment i dun have any photo to shaw it to u! Sorry ya

    What were your settings then??

    Tell us more info on how you were shooting and what you were shooting.

    I using ISO 200,Shutter Priority,Shutter speed 100. All the photo i take to dark n when i on the build-in flash it'll b to white, even i using the tripod also the same thing happen?

    Maybe you can share more info on what you want to take and the effect you want to achieve.

    For for Night Cityscape, you can try Manual Mode, ISO 200, Aperture f11, Shutter Speed 8 secs or so, depending on the condition.

    For Night Portrait, it also depends on your Speedlight and etc, maybe you can try Manual Mode, ISO 200, Aperture f8, Shutter Speed 2 secs.

    But all these will depends on the condition. YMMV. Thanks.

    Welcome. We are all here to share and learn. Do feel free to post your Night Photography questions in the Night Photography subforum. Maybe more experts can share their views. Or you can post your pictures for other to discuss what went wrong or etc. Cheerz.
