need to shrink dvd to small size file to view in pda

hi,i had currently using sompy.com encorder to make 4gb of dvd video to less than 500mb of video to view in my pad.
nut the problem is certain folders are ok but certain folders had the video but the audio just bzz noise all the way.pls help.
when converting the video from the dvd , i convert from the dvd-rom /dvd writer directly and it encode to a file auto to the c drive.
pls advice if u encounter this problem or if this can be resolved.
also if u got any other software to encode large video file to smaller files size to view the movie in the pda.
Pls advice.

i'm using videora for my ipod video,so far so good.
Dunno if it can be use for your pda.

U can try pocketdivxencoder.. try google it.. Its freeware..

I used a purchased software called Pocket-DVD Studio, it converts a DVD into an .avi file for viewing in my PDA. It works very well, a single Friends episode is compressed into a 64M avi. file.

It makes into different screen size as well, did one for PDA and another for my Smartphone, super.
