Default Help needed on printing of pictures

Hi guys,

I am very new to this forum. I am also a very new owner of a dimage 7i. I love the camera and even tho it has an inherent fault which causes it to "auto" off once in awhile, I have come to live with it.

BTW, does anyone else here know anything more abt this inherent fault? Should I take it to Minolta for servicing?

Now...to the question at hand. I have happily snapped away during the CNY period and would now like to print some of the shots. How should I go about? I have heard from friends that cropping needs to be done . Is that true? I shot all my shots at fine mode and the highest resolution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys...thanks for the suggestions so far. I will try out both. I have abt 120+ films to be developed. However, more importantly, do i have to crop my pistures or resize them? Ca I not do both? I shot at Fine, 2560 * 12++ (can't remember), its 4:3, i think...there is a direct print order function on the dimage 7i but will that help if i do not want to crop?

many thanks in advance again!

Fotohub.com accept up to 100mb online. So better to go down to their shop.

I think it is in OUB or UOB building..shenton way....

Another branch is in Bukit Timah called 35mm (2nd Ave Junction)

Do a search in this forum and you can find more shops doing digital prints at lower price.

I stick with fotohub because it is online and They don't color correct my prints (what I see is what I get...)

de auto 'off' feature does comes wif my dimage5. so my guess is ur dimage 7i have dat auto 'off' to save battery power. you can change it in de settings to not have de feature at all.

Photofriends, Peninsula Plaza charges 40 cents for each 4R with no handling charge. They won't correct colors if you tell them not to. Others have differing experience though but 2 batches of my prints and one of my colleagues were good.
