Spent half a day at the zoo over the weekend. Pretty much the usual stuffs until my tripod became a play thing for the friend of the forest .... Quite a sight, unfortunately I had my zoom mounted and couldnt get a full shot...
1. The day the tripod became a tree ![]() 2. Even the golden monkey came to take a look ![]() 3. And the green frog was saying .. how stewpig of that fellow ![]() 4. The mangoose stretched their necks to join in the looking ar ![]() 5. In actual fact, he mounted the tripod to take a peek at e fish in the pond ![]() ... the end |

I think with a little bit of fill flash #1 can be imporved a little I like the frog and meerkat(or mongoose?) shots though.
The last one is the deeifn of that giant fish right? Tried taking a pic of it snatching the food? ehehe.. |

i always tot #4 is a mongoose too until i watched national geographic.
it's a meerkat. very very cute! feel like taking a katana and beheading them whenever they stand up and peek. ![]() |

The golden monkey is not a easy subject as I think. I have difficulty to get a sharp img on him.

I suppose anyone who has seen The Lion King, would know that its a meerkat. Hakuna matata . Shoot them with your camera if you want to, but don't kill them with your katana.

I dun think its possible given the speed in whcih it leaps and grab the food. Thanks for feedback and suggestion |
