Do you need to put in any replacement glass for the camera mod?

Been contemplating modding the FZ series a long time...hee

Just took out the hot mirror filter. Did not put in any other glass.

When I want to take IR put on the R72. To take colour, took out R72 and set CWB to red. The colour come out quite ok except a little yellowish for leaves.

Oh ya, I presume the FZ-5 doesn't experience any focusing problem if there is no replacement glass?

My Sony-F707 had that problem if I do not put any glass in... .

Edmund, I decided to try modding after our talk the other day. But the hot mirror filter cost about $150, so I just ignore it. Did not document the steps.
