this is my 1st try doing bird photography using my budget len sigma 70-300 any idea how i can improve...of course dun ask me get a better len... by the way, anyone has idea what is the name of this bird... I think its called a common myna.
less common than the black javan myna now adays ! cheers |

the bokeh is good enough. image is just not sharp enough.
from your EXIF. 1/400 + f/5.6 ISO 400... not much of a problem from what i can see.. and u are using 400D. i believe its the lens. its being set to macro mode ? not a canon or sigma user. but that lens. not capable of achieving great images with such a length IMHO.

As for crop, original is 3888 x 2592 which I had cropped it down to 600 x 467 in order to post it online. |
