Smile How to produce pictures like this??

    Hi everyone.

Was pretty amazed by how incredible these pictures look:
    http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=639613
    Pls take a look.

The colours and contrast are very nice. Being a newbie to photography i just dont have a clue as to how the guy did it.

Anyone knows how those pictures are processed so that they look almost... surreal?
What are the possible techniques in PS or his shooting to produce such work?

    Thx!

Probably involved at least some very high standards meticulous dodging and burning?

I don't really think its just dodging and burning. Probably a long time spent on post processing the lot.

    ah..rarindra prakarsa..
    i know his painting-like-photographs from fotografer.net
some of his pictures are taken with canon G5, so it's definitely his PS skill that made the pictures.
afaik, his PS technique is hard to be reproduced.
