That would depend on what the client wants (CD? Prints?) and how soon they want it as well as the copyright issues(who gets to keep it) . I guess the amout suggested by glenn is reasonable..

Hi,

I was approached by a relative to do the abovementioned event too. The job-scope is supposed to include "capturing of candids and the evening's passing events for publication purpose in an alumni magazine + website".

Where do I go from here? Copyrights? How much to charge and how do I handle the whole situation, especially since the person approaching me is a relative (my aunt to be exact)?
