Looking for the above as add-on lens for my Pana FZ50
Is there a new model TCON-17E ? Recommended Price and where to get much appreciated. |

Having used teleconverters on the C-700, personally I suggest you look at the Raynox brand lenses instead. Check out this page which shows the various Raynox lenses on the DMC-FZ30 and sample images produced by the camera by clicking on the lens:

Taking into consideration the pricing and weight factors, I will still stick on to the Oly add-on lens. |

The newer ones seem to use a bayonet mount?
I suggest you keep a look out for a used TCON-17 with screw on thread that should be quite cheap. Optically, there is no difference between all the various modesl it seems. You will need a step-up ring when used with the FZ50 will you? The TCON-17 has a 55mm thread. |

55mm thread? that means that the TCON-17 is perfect for the FZ50.
I saw someone selling one here: http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthrea...hlight=tcon-17 Next time, do a search in B&S. That is a great price, considering that I sold mine for >$100. You might wanna grab it fast before others do. |
