If you search through the threads, in the right section (I have moved your post into the Four Thirds section), you would have realised that there are three lenses available right now for your camera...
Zuiko Digital 35mm f3.5 and 50mm macro f2.0 and Sigma 30mm macro f1.4. The Sigma 30mm and ZD35mm are both very affordable. |

nice, small and light walk about prime lens. but the very short min working distance is crap. think it's 1cm for 1:1 macro. sold it off for the 50mm for this reason Last edited by uginz; 19th November 2006 at 07:15 PM. |

50mm is abt $700. coz it's a high grade lens. check the equipment price list sticky thread.
how ever it's a 1:2 lens at abt 15cm. you do insect photography rite? i suggest waiting for the sigma 105mm or 150mm which are 1:1 at abt the same working distance. |

But hold your horses as Sigma is also bringing the 105mm and 150mm macro which according to some are pretty good. I am biased against Sigma so I shall not and should not make further comments so that I do not taint your judgement on what you are looking for, even though I am investigating into the Sigma 105mm and 150mm Macro myself. They are great for butterfly photography. |

That means the Sigma will be nearer to the ZD 50mm in terms of pricing... But ur posts on the Sigma keeps placing it on a EITHER/OR basis with the $355 ZD 35mm... U got lobang for the Sigma at ZD 35mm price range is it?!!? Dun take this wrongly ah... i'm just getting confused... ![]() |

, I don't find Sigma 30mm listed as a Macro lens http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/len...00&navigator=6. It has magnification of 1:10.4 not 1:1. |
