Is Olympus E500 good.

Hi all,

Thinking of buying a Dslr and E500 is the most affordable in the market. but about the performance? is it good? esp indoor and night? this 2 aspect is very important as i have already got a S3is from canon. Thanks in advance.

i have an E500 and i think it's good enough. i use it for uw photography.
but as with all oly cams, slow auto focus in low light, and noise at high iso.

can't help you there.. i dun have any nite shots. and the only indoor shots i have are studio ones.
personally, i think only outdoors and nature shots do justice to oly systems coz of it's fantastic colours. of coz, they need to be taken with optimal lighting conditions first.

Welcome to the Olympus family. I am sure you will have a great shooting experience from the camera system. If you run into any problems using the camera, feel free to come in here and ask them. Ok... i bought my E-500 abt 2 months back from HN @ Funan...

Got the free 2 yr Extended Warranty, same price of 1399 with the freebies...

I am not sure if they still giving the Ext Warr, BUT u may wanna check it out/call them...

Anyway, costs abt $120 to purchase it separately if i remember correctly...
