Default Difference between B+W UV filters

What's the difference between these filters?

77m MRC UV-Haze

&

77mm MRC CPL

What does that CPL do?

CPL is a circular polarizer. It's different from a UV filter. Polarizers help reduce reflections and increase contrast and saturation. UV filters reduce UV rays, and well, protects the front element of your lens.
