You must be talking about "Buck Rogers in the 21st Century", where he gets frozen on a routine space shuttle mission and is resurrected in the future.

Battlestar Galactica - my favourite episode was the one where they land on Earth (can't remember why they did that).

anyway Berman admits he can't understand why the movie tanked in the US.

    see here.

Wake up Rick, it was due to poor timing! Nemesis was fighting toe to toe against TTT and Hairy Putter for crying out loud.

For TV, the majority of Enterprise's 2nd season was pretty much lacking. Only in the recent Stigma episode did the script writing improve somewhat (read - more cerebral).

And given the recent cancellation of Andromeda, Farscape and Firefly it is a big loss to any sci-fi fan. Only thing left is Odyssey 5 which is basically "X-files with a larger cast".

Anybody have comments on this movie? Picard's clone, Shinzon, looks like a young Dr Evil.

    I absolutely agree

    As for the movie....

Not too bad, contrived/predictable story line to a certain extend but enjoyable nonetheless...

    The Scimitar is impressive though...

I've always wondered why photon torpedos were plain old projectiles and not target seeking. Even 20th century technology beats this. Also wonder why there is sound in space.

Imagine how boring it would all be without sound....
