Default My first attempt at dodging / burning

I didn't use a mask, just swept the tools along the areas I wanted to lighten/darken.

C&C welcome.

image is too small for critique.

nice shades of blue, but a little too dark.

i find the slanted horizon disturbing.

Thanks for the suggestion - here it is.

I'm very new to PS. Here is my workflow: Lightroom for adjustments, PS (7) for amateur curves, levels, cloning and for the first time dodging / burning.

Thanks, pls be harsh, it is the only way I will learn.

It works for me, but like Eikin said, you might want to lighten the exposure by about 1/3 stops. That would be great for me.

can you burn more of the sky? It looks dull to me, darker could be more dramatic.

Photo looks uninteresting for burning n dodging. U should use a photo with dramatic sky and clouds.
