I have been trying out my new F30, and noticed something. For the same subject in daylight and ISO 100, while using Aperture-priority, the image for f8 is softer than that captured using f5.6. After a few experiments, it appears that f5.6 is the "sweet-spot" for my F30's lens.
Anyone has similar experience? I guess its small aperture diffraction that's causing this. cheers, |

For the F11, I remember f2.8 being the "sweet-spot" that you called.
