But if I'm forced to choose the edited one, I would go with the Picasa ones with a slight preference towards the 2nd one.I don't know what you did but I have been quite impressed with "I feel lucky" ![]() Last edited by lsisaxon; 12th November 2006 at 11:00 PM. |

Looks like you might have bumped the colour temperature a wee bit too high... contrast as well. Look at the clouds.

agree... the original one looks better. the ps'd ones look fake. the picassa ones are better than the elements ones.

You have to be aware that sometimes picasa's effects are not rendered out when you save the edits to a new file. Most notably the sharpen effect.

i use both. picasa is free though, and so many times faster than ps. there are some more advanced features that you need ps for like dodge and burn. i work in picasa first and if that doesn't help then ps.

use Picasa if you want a fast and easy way of enhancing your pictures. some of the presets are good. i haven't tried Elements yet, but i'm sure it's not as easy as Picasa.

As for your current pics i prefer the original and the picasa versions, but really i don't think it matters which software you use. |

i must say i like picasa especially the "i feel lucky" button.. now i can appreciate the pix taken by my noisy, saturated fz-30.
