Did you have to post process the pics a lot? I heard there is tricky lighting condition there...

Not shallow lah bro...one of the best series I've seen so far. The rest can't even come close!

You've chosen your background very well, which I think a lot of them ignored. This is a very important factor to consider for taking pics during such events. Filter out of unwanted people and background is a must, so that your subject stands out.

I'll be making my way to SMS early morning today. Hopefully I can filter out the crowd!

All done on 50mm f1.4 without flash... last shot done on Sigma 70-200 f2.8.

Good eye jOhO... did the last shot on the 70-200... set the shutter speed slower due to low light... hence the bit of shake... 2nd shot no excuse... a bit OOF... set the aperture wide, so my focus-recompose technique could have caused the shift in plane of focus...

I must admit I was lazy to use my external flash, so I did all the shots in available light, and pushing up ISO and wide apertures... Had to stretch myself a bit to look out for the right lighting, wait for the turntable to turn till models came under the light etc... Good training on getting on the right lighting for me...

Hey bro... how's your trip there? Had to be quite patient to wait till the background clears and furthermore, I shot mainly on the 50mm prime, so my output really a bit low...
