i like #2, 4 and 5, the models look really good in them. good effort for shots without flash, but some shots could be sharper with more practice in handholding the cam i imagine.

you may keep a low profile, but CSers have a knack for recognising equipment a mile off....

thanks for the comments.yes, i will carry a bag of NTUC rice everyday instead of the lens to train my left hand.
if only Nikon makes carbon fibre lenses.

Worst thing is to do custom WB at the motor show.. Every car display is using light of different temperature. Quite a few of them you don't even have access to the lighted area to get a reflected lightsource to do your WB.

I'll say your WB is a bit funny due to the use of flash.. The lights were super warm, and your flash is super cool.. The only logical way I could think of while shooting under those situation was to reduce exposure for ambient light, and let your flash take over..

1st, how do i do a custom WB?i'm using D200.

2nd, i'm only using the fill flash.didnt bring my sb800.so, to reduce ambient light, err..what do i do?choose a faster shutter speed?whenever i pop the fill, it's 1/60s if i'm not wrong.

3rd,usually when using flash to lit a subject, their faces come out bleached.(which is wat i dont like, hence i tend not to use flash).so lidat how?

it's IMPOSSIBLE to do a custom WB at the show.cos diff booth, diff lighting imho.some has spotlights, some has tungsten, so has white fluorescent spots(?).so how?everytime before i shoot a diff model i have to do a custom WB?wah, that's so inconvenient and troublesome.
unless i shoot RAW and come home 1 by 1 adjust color temp?aiyo!

Nice try jeanie.

Other than #1, the rest r pretty good for me.
Maybe u can try to reduce the greenish cast in a few of the pics during pp it would looks even better.

I think it's very hard to remain low key when a lady is shooting with a Nikon 70-200 VR..

OK lah, I'll try to be honest.

Don't really like #1 becos..
-the angle is not very flattering, her chin & cheek almost become a horizontal line..
-the stare of her eyes is not so natural..
-her posture is a little stiff..
-skin tone a little under and colour out..

haha....read ur manual it will tell u how to set CWB....if u think setting CWB is trouble some...Shooting at RAW and adjusting at home is more troublesome....coz of the light ur camera is confuse wif the WB...so its better to use CWB or Shoot RAW...

using Flash u can reduce ur flash exp/power...so tat it wont wash out any details....
