    I am looking for the #3T and #4T lenses and the only places I can find them is on eBay. B+H online store has them but the shipping costs a bomb...

    I never knew the reverse mount method would work so brilliantly... other than the fact you can't adjust apeature etc but.... happen to see a cool bug in office that day - this insect was like... prolly 4mm in length? Shot using 350D and 18-55, haha..handheld the lens (no mount) and body. Guess this method would work for me since am not a macro shooter.

    I like your comment about the superglue, kinda nature unfriendly though.

    Personally I'd prefer to go for a reversal ring or extension tube. Like bro lsisaxon mentioned, they are the ones that doesn't introduce additional optics to the system.

    I checked the Nikon thread and theres only ONE place selling the reversing ring for $30... The thing is they nv state what model/type..

    Anyone care to share the types?? Whats the diff?

    Tried that.. they seem to avoid it all the time.. I then picked up an ant and dropped it onto the sticky side of the masking tape. It managed to crawl out of the sticky area although with some effort. I guess the surface area of their 'feet' are too tiny for the sticky tape to have much effects.
