S/w that create photo VCD

Hi,

I am trying to find a software that can create VCD slide show from Digital Photos, and then can play on VCD player and PC.

Best to have background music, slide show effect (such as fade in), and insert text & comment.

I had tried Ulead DVD Picture Show, but have noted the following problem:

1. Some VCD player cannot play or cannot play properly the CDR created.
2. The picture quality of Slide Shows in PC is horrible.
3. Cannot create effect and tex.

Can someone recommend any other good s/w?

sounds like Pinnacle Studio 8.0 is a good s/w. Still figuring how to use it. Anyone knows how to create slide show using this s/w ?

What I do is pull the pictures into my Nero - Burning Rom. It has a function to create VCD from pictures. You can play in slide show or pause. You can also forward it as each picture is a seperate track.
