Got Lambogini, Ferrari, Sangyong, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Yamaha, Mazda, Subara, etc etc.

The European brands like Mercz and BMW were all missing from this exibition.

I suggest going to Level 6 first as there are more things to see at Level 6. Then go down to Level 3.

Thanx for sharing ...

Did u use pns or DSLR to take these pics? becos seems like everytime when someone took out a DSLR, its like trying to do a personal shooting session rather than looking at the car.... some of the models did have some conservative feeling abt taking shots ...

Actually let me use a layman term...

pns = point and shoot [small camera]

DSLR = Digital Single Lens Reflex [pro camera]

juz wondering if ppl with DSLR will be deprive of such opportunity to shoot ard...

It's always not easy shooting indoor without flash.

Check on the EXIF of threadstarter's pictures and you can gauge the light condition there.

At very short focal lengths of 6-8mm, shutter speeds used ranges from 1/10 to 1/30 at F2.8-F3.5, ISO 200.

As a general guideline, make sure that your shutter speed is faster than 1/actual focal length to avoid handshake blur. If necessary, pump up the ISO. For indoor, usually ISO 400 and higher are needed if without flash. The first picture here is suffering from a bit of handshake blur as the shutter speed was only 1/15 while the focal length was 33mm.

Also don't forgot about motion blur if you want to avoid them. Depending on how much motion, shutter speed needed ranges from 1/30-1/250.

Alternatively, use flash photography.

Which would you be?

One of the I/C personnel for the Madza booth wasn't too inviting of photographers taking shots, not sure if that was during a last dry run or something. Maybe I misunderstood, but...

you wont.. because as far as i know they dont indicate it.

but... you can still use a broad rule of thumb. e.g. if your max zoom is 200mm, then if you are at max zoom, you should be at least at 1/200 if not 1/300 of a second. and if you are a minimum zoom (say 28mm) then you should be at least 1/28 of a second. so if you are halfway zoom, then halfway between 1/28 and 1/300 is about 1/170 or thereabouts.
