Leave the bargaining to the expert !

PS : of course I didn't tell her when I bought the next four lenses .....
Maybe she could have gotten the 4 lenses for you cheaper

lucky for me, my gf is a photography student and shes into photography as much as i do, guess she won't be complaining much if i expand my lens collection as that would give her access to an increased range of lenses too (shes using Nikon as well) hehe

Haha, as long as I'm using the lenses on our children, she's fine with it. And of course, as long as she doesn't know how much my equipment costs!

Everytime I buy a new lens, I told her it is on loan from a friend, my friend's dry cab has no space for them.

The best part was she couldn't tell betw. my 350D and the new 30D i bought!

My gf din complain when i bought lens(es). Maybe it's me not buying any ex lens yet

But her face is really black when we were on outting and i kept trying to get a shot right for too long (occasionally lying on the ground, trying to get a macro of a tiny flower or that sort ... for rather long and din know where she was ... )

I guess it's worse if she keep a black face and absolutely quiet, i rather she nag me ...

Anyway this is typical: when i'm in camera shops saying i'm tempted to buy this lens or that lens, the known answer from her is: "For what? isn't that the same as the one u already have?" And the exact same thing happens when we r in clothing shop, just the opposite way no matter if she's buying clothes for her or for me

My wife is supporting me on my Photography hobbies. In fact, she is picking up too! She love to take Black and White photos. Currently she is using Contax Tvs III and sometimes she would use my Leica M6.

    Haha, aren't we all are...

I remembered 1.5 yrs ago when I brought my new 350D home, she asked me if it was expensive.

I told her it was an old model and I bought it cheap 2nd hand. She didn't buy the story at first. Then I told her that if was the latest model, it would have enabled me to look through the LCD screen and shoot instead of having to look into the viewfinder!

After that, she was satisfied with this crappy answer.
