I 've just uploaded a photo in this forum, however it turns out to be a url link instead of the photo itself! pls advise!

You need to put the pic on a server that support direct linking (eg, coolconnect, fujifilm, tripodasia. Let me know if you need the URL). Then when you create the post, click on the 'IMG' button and paste the link to the pic there.
