    If body color matters, we already seen colorful body from many manufacturer.

    IIRC Canon white lens(es) is not without a reason for the white color .

    As a working photographer for the past 20 years ... i know why they come in black due to my experiences....

    When doing an interior photography, there will be many moments that the reflections of black cameras / tripods are not as obvious as silver ones.
    This makes it very much easier to retouch even though it appears in the photographs.

    Also for product photography, silver tripods tends to reflect lunnessary ight causing 'hotspot' on the product being taken.

    It's very critical that studios are painted black as well to minimize unwanted reflected light...

    NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND .....

    Silver cameras, tripods, lightstands is another story ..... Use your imagination & logic ...
