Shot this a SBG today,

very nice... S2Pro user yeah? Still remembers... The shot compo's great except for the bottom left red bokeh.. maybe can PS it away since you have a nice uniformed bkgrd ? Great shots! din even catch any late birds when I was there! ![]()

But the parakeet's colours arent sharp or bright enough to stand out from the background? Is that right? |

Nice bird shots, 2nd one is my favorite. Pity the last one was blur.

Yes, Tomshen its really a pity for the last shot. I think the DOF of the last shot was too shallow, as a result, except for the branch, claw and some parts of the beak, the rest is out of focus. As for the color of the parakeet, it is their natural defense to have this color for camouflage. However, yes it is a bit underexpose and the flash was not enough to heighten the color. Thanks for the suggeston SniperD, I was also tempted to correct the background for the last shot but on 2nd thoughts I think it is better to have some faults ![]() Once again Thanks I do appreciate all the comments.
