    Status symbol now is no more a Rolex for the young and informed.
    I have seen too many below 30 with Patek and Lange.

    My Oyster 10years still going strong.. I think its better to use it everyday then to put in the safe.

    Hehe.. Well Rolex still manages to sell every watch they make... still popular with chinese businessmen

    True. I've heard that a lot of the fakes are so good that even trained Rolex technicians have a hard time telling them apart...that is, until you open them. The arrangement of the movement inside a real Rolex is distinct and unique, the fakes are immediately obvious.

    There was one time, I heard a guy pronounce "Patek" and I thought he said "Pathetic", hehe... so every time I see it now, I keep hearing "pathetic" and I can't get it out of my head.

    Yes fakes with real parts.
    They use real case for a fake movement and you can't tell from the outside.
    Not so much on the arrangements of the movements but an entirely different movement all together. Of course you can do this only with normal watch that does not have complications. Doubt they will be able to fake the more complicated complications.
    BTW a Rolex is not that well finished inside as well.

    that's y they dont have display case back...

    why not.......let others think what they want.....

    some ppl are just jealous ......if they dun have one, they think the rest r wearing fakes
