Tamron 17-50 f2.8 got minolta mount?
Last time i checked with shops and was told the Tamron has yet to produce this lens for minolta mount. Anyone seen it available?

not yet available. Not yet starts on sale. No definite date on Tamron website yet...so I dont think you can get it anytime soon.
Tamron 17-50mm in Nikon and Canon mount are constantly out of stock, Tamron are too buy to care about KM mount now...  |

sigh!
 they should come out a mount during this period while the sony lenses are not out and expected to be expensive. I think many minolta/sony users will try out these 3rd party lens if they are available. |

sounds like it's a good lens...great as an everyday lens and can replace my 28-80mm kit lens. hmmm...should I sell my 24mm lens to finance this?

I'm wondering if it focusses better i.e. faster and more accurately than my KM 17-35mm... it's pretty poor under low light...
