Default F30 & Quality Settings

I usually print 4R size. What Quality setting should i choose in F30 such that when i print (4R size) in the shop there will be no black border/strip on top and bottom?

last time i used to use 3:2 in nikon coolpix 990. There will be no black strips on the photo while i view on LCD and also when it is printed in 4R prints.

When i choose 3:2 in F30, there are black strips on top and bottom of the photo when i view in LCD .. . . . i havn't yet tried to print 4R.

Anybody can help me? Thks.

3:2 is the correct ratio for 4R. Try printing it and see.

That's normal when viewing on F30's LCD. FYI, when you view 3:2 on your PC (no matter taken with which camera), you'll also see those black strips you mentioned. Probably the CP990 was designed to zoom in or fit to screen (top and bottom) when viewing on its LCD.

There won't be any problem at all when you print it to 4R.
