anyone has any idea how to use D200 with a remote flash without firing it's internal flash?
is that such thing to begin with? |

update: even if you turn it off, it still fires with minimal power to activate the slave. damn.
i was trying to snatch an upclose of my cat with that, so it doesn't work like that than. tsk tsk. |

The flash is important because it needs to know the exact moment to fire.

Nikon SG-31R IR Panel ![]() The built in flash will still fire to signal the remote flash, but the IR Panel will block the most of the direct signal light, this way, your subject will not be startled or blink, especially if you do an FV Lock before you take your shot. You should be able to purchase this from the Nikon Show Room at the first floor of the Fuji Xerox Building. Price probably around SG$20+ _ |
