Seems like Fuji is one of the few companies that are introducing new film cameras. Rollei is another one of them. And both currently are currently producing film stock (Rollei film is made in co-operation with Maco of Germany).

Do they know something we don't?

Wow, this cam looks promising, just like Natura Black f1.9, but the price is 95,000 Yen, not cheap at all I guess this cam is only available in Japan, like Natura Black.

Why? Because their local market is big enough and the rest of the world doesn't appreciate film enough to justify exporting these products. The Japs do know a good thing when they see it.

Coz Japan is one of the few countries that can still support a viable market.

Sure looks a lot like a Rollei AFM 35. This is an update to the original Klasse which was released some 5-6 years back IIRC. Limited production run of 8000 units and it is of much better build quality than the Natura S, hence the higher price.

The Natura S is a really cheap camera.

Can anyone here read the Japanese?

And no lah... doesn't look like a Leica... too many features on the case. Leicas are so minimalist in design...

Regardless, the design very retro... very chio.

this one was released a long time ago. quite expensive considering that the features are not so impressive.
