The Common Imperial is a rather rare and this is a newly eclosed copy , glad you like it.

A new batch has just eclosed recently at the Alexandra Hospital Butterfly Trail ,and they come down to sunbath towards the afternoon.

By the way, unless for emphasis of a certain theme I dun take parts of a butterfly , the beauty of a butterfly is the whole creature itself.

Impressive! With clean BG too. Though second pic seems a lot of space on the left side, not a big deal though .

Where's the location? I hope I can find some more butts in ECP this weekend

The Common Imperial was shot at Alexandra Hospital Butterfly Trail (AHBT) and the Club Band Silverline was recorded from Bukit Batok Road.

This remark caused alot of confusion in the thread, i decided to leave this here as a clarification and an apology to everyone who has been affected by this remark of mine. I have been kindly informed that many CSpians here have put in alot of efforts and time in the creation of the butterfly trail, and many more than what I have done. My sincere apologies to bluesteel, sumball, papilio and others who were affected by my comment. But at the same time i am also warmed that many of us here volunteered too. haha as i explained to bluesteel, i was a member of a small group of volunteers who helped to set up the AH butterfly garden/trail at AH. Though we only did a small part, the joy of seeing the butterflies returning and CSpians getting great shots of great butterflies made those few weekends worth it
