ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
CONTENT Part I: Exposure, Contrast and Colour You will learn how to analyse an image in these terms and how to use various photoshop tools to correct and/or enhance these in accordance to what you saw or what you want to create. Specifically the tools to be illustrated in this context, ie Exposure, Contrast and Colour, are: Part II: Local Processing Part III: Workflow Demonstrations, ie intergrated application of analysis, tools and techniques as dictated by aesthetic or personal preferances/requirements All processing will be implemented as layers, and various tips on the use of layers, eg file size minimising tips, shortcuts, etc will be demonstrated as and when appropriate and relevant to specific processing techniques. You are most encouraged to bring pictures you like to be enhanced. I can explain to you what is the shortcoming in the picture and see how much Photoshop can enhance or correct it, and also thereby reveal tips as to how it could be retaken and shot the next time in similar situations and compositions. Notes: Notes will be provided via email Aftersales: Students can continue to send their work to instruction for critique, comments, advice, instructions etc etc after the course without limitations. And of course any and all questions. PRICE $120 per person; deposit of $40 to secure place in course and $80 to be paid up before start of 1st session. Deposit refunded if course cancelled, forfeited if student no show. LOCATION Libraries: Selected from the following depending on convenience of students: Esplanade Jurong East Woodlands Tampines Queenstown DATES 2 x 3hr Session on two Sats (most likely). REGISTRATION
Registration for PS for Newbie Course III is now opened. DATES The Course is a 2 x Sat session of 3 hrs each, from 1000hrs to 1300hrs. The dates are 11 and 18 Nov. LOCATION The location is tentatively at the Project Room at Library@Esplanade. If this location is not available, then the back up location is either Queenstown or Jurong East Regional library. REGISTRATION To register and secure your place in the course, you have to make a deposit of $40. Please drop me an email at bephotoshopped@yahoo.com for details on how to make this deposit. COURSE FEES The course fees is $120. The remaining $80 is to be paid at the beginning of the first session. |

Due to late submissions of deposits, the dates are now shifted back by one week to 18 and 25 Nov. LOCATION The location is tentatively at the Project Room at Library@Esplanade. If this location is not available, then the back up location is either Queenstown or Jurong East Regional library.
