RIP indeed. Sometimes fate calls on one when it is least expected. The sales girl went out of the way, almost after her working hrs to go to another branch to test drive the car with the interested party.

    Unfortunate.

And so, where's thy swift justice delivered to the murder of the poor girl?

If I remember correctly, the newspaper reported that the reckless young man who crashed the mazda, his father was just a warehouse manager, and there is no way he can afford to buy the mazda...
    RIP.

If u happen to walk past the old High Court building, look up at the statue carvings of the blindfolded lady holding the Scales of Justice & the Sword with 2 groups of people at the sides.

If u have the time, sit down, look up and ponder abt it.

guys.. i think you should stop speculating that something has been "done" to hush up the case just because its been a year..

1 year... or even 2 years, is not an uncommon period sometimes for charges to be brought..

it depends on the length of the investigation... the Attorney-General has to decide... then even if charges are brought, the accused lawyers may try and do some plea barganing... and all of this takes some time.. sometimes, there may also be a coroner's inquiry and this may take palce before charges are brought.

it may also be that the case is already in the courts, but just that the press have not cottoned on to it..

or he could even already have been sentenced... there are hundreds of cases mentioned every day in court where sentences are passed.. theres only a handful of court journalists.. sometimes, they get tipped off.. sometimes its just because they happen to be in court on that day.. who knows.. but it could well be that, maybe because his identity was unknown. he has been charged and fined/jailed already and no court reporter was in court that day...

They always say justice is blind.

But the statue wearing the blindfold symbolies all are equal under the law, ppl are not guaged by who they are, what status they have in society. Raw interpretation is to suggest that it is not necessary to see those under judgement.

Pardon me for my poor english, i am those who eat mee siam without hum.

Don't think that she's completely impartial.. if, hypothetically speaking your father was a former high court judge and your mother an MP, you could even get your reduced 1 year jail sentence for drugs further reduced to eight months at home
